Established in 2005, Guangzhou Cana School (Guangzhou Rehabilitation &Research Center for Children with ASD), affiliated to Guangzhou Disabled Persons’ Federation, is the 1stpublic special education school and research center for children with ASD under the age of 16.

Interpretation of Cana:

Cana shares the similar pronunciation with that of Dr.Leo Kanner, who first diagnosed autism in the world.
The Chinese name of Cana means “rehabilitation and acceptation”. Children with ASD are expected to receive high quality education and services in Cana, and to be accepted by the public.
